At ATC, our trailers are built from scratch made entirely of aluminum. By using aluminum, ATC is able to provide several advantages that customers will not find in a steel trailer. Aluminum will not rust or weaken so it weathers far better than steel. Aluminum trailers maintain their original appearance for many years. At trade-in time, ATC trailers have a higher resale value because of the minimal wear and tear ATC trailers experience over the years.
Aluminum is lighter than steel so ATC all-aluminum trailers weigh much less than comparable steel trailers. Immediate cost savings are realized from increased fuel economy along with easier highway towing.
Pound for pound aluminum is stronger than steel. ATC invited independent engineers from Dexter Axle to evaluate the strength and engineering of ATC’s aluminum extrusions. After extensive testing, the engineers concluded that ATC’s axle mains are actually stronger than those found on steel trailers.

looks clean with less waviness on the exterior skin. Another advantage
to tube design is that interior plywood is not used on the inside walls
of the trailer for structural stability. By using tube instead of hat
post walls, Motiv trailers are significantly lighter than the
competition.
Motiv has listened to the feedback from
trailer buyers and now offer trailers in half foot widths on its cargo
and motorcycle lines. Instead of the traditional 6 or 7 foot wide
trailer, Motiv has 6.5 and 7.5 foot wide trailers that provide extra
room for all cargo. Motiv trailers still tow easily and maintain high
visibility, but also provide the most space for motorcycles, an ATV,
cars or any other cargo. The new widths optimize the space inside the
trailer and still keep the advantages of smaller trailers.
What
does this mean for a Motiv customer? It means that by using the best
technology, Motiv has designed a trailer that is stronger, gives more
support, has less flex, provides more space, weighs less and will last
longer than a traditionally built trailer. Customers should not settle
