The Car Shop Trailer Sales Warranty:

All of our manufacturers offer different warranties on their trailers, stated below. At the time of purchase the warranty information will be handed to you. Please be advised the warranty is between you and the manufacturers. We will assist in all warranty claims clerically to speed up the process on behalf of our customers.

All warranties MUST BE pre-approved by the manufacturers: No Exceptions !! In most cases photos must be provided.  Prior Written Consent Required and Return of Defective Parts in some cases. Tire related warranties require information off the tires be provided and in most cases tires must be left for pick up by the warrantier. 
No reimbursement will be made to any dealer or owner for repairs made without the prior written consent of THE MANUFACTURER.

Pre – Owned Trailers: 
All pre owned trailers sold from our dealership are sold “AS IS”, meaning no warranty, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. 

Manufacturers Stated Warranties Overview: 
Below is a briefing on the warranties of some of the manufacturers we carry, all details are NOT listed. For a complete detail listing request your sales person to scan or fax one to you.

Aluma All Aluminum Trailers: 
Plant Location: Bancroft, Iowa
Aluma warrants that its product will be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of five (5) years. The warranty period starts the day of purchase by the ORIGINAL owner. Any unit that proves to be in material and/or workmanship under normal use, and such unit is returned to Aluma and under their inspection is determined to be defective, the unit will be repaired without charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser. Any repairs other than by the factory will be paid for only with prior approval from Aluma. The warranty shall be void where the unit has been subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, modification, accident or where repair part or actual repairs have been supplied and/or performed without Aluma authorization. Loading in access of gross vehicle load ratings states on the certificate plate will invalidate any and all warranties. Normal wear items will not be replaced due to wear (items include but are not limited to, bearings, brakes, brake linings & hinges). Paint warranty (90) days does not cover wear, deterioration and/or damage from road elements, salt, sand, weather conditions, and/or improper wash solvents. 

ATC The Aluminum Trailer Company: 
Plant Location: Nappannee, Indiana 3 Year Limited Warranty - 5 Year LIMITED Structural Warranty
Excludes the Raven Lite Models
The Aluminum Trailer Company Inc. (ATCI) warrants to the original consumer for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase the trailer manufactured by ATCI shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship supplied and attributable to ATCI. This warranty is non-transferable and is limited to defects in workmanship performed by ATCI only. Other components such as but not limited to tires, wheels, axles, awnings, couplers, generators, hydraulic pumps, jacks, winches, air conditioners, doors, 3M VHB, windows etc are covered by OEM warranties and thus must be filed with the OEM. Also ATCIs warranty does not cover special paints, decals or graphics. The five (5) year structural warranty covers the structural portion of the ATCI trailer shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship supplied and attributable to ATCI. The structural portion of the warranty shall include the main aluminum frame and all the aluminum members welded to it, the studs and framing in the walls and roof members. All other items are covered by the standard three (3) year limited warranty. 
The ATCI warranty is valid only if the trailer is (a) Returned to ATCI or (b) Returned to a repair facility authorized by ATCI. Reasonable notification must be given for all repairs. A written estimate must be provided to ATCI prior to work being performed. Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of trailer, rental or substitute equipment, loss of revenue or other commercial loss is not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover freight to or from ATCI for repairs. The original purchaser of the warrantor’s product and any person to whom the product is transferred, and any person who is an intended user or beneficiary of the product shall not be entitled to recover from the warrantor any consequential or incidental damages resulting from any defect in the product. Damages include loss of use of the trailer, loss of revenues or any other commercial losses, subsequent use of rental equipment, loss of time and inconvenience. 
This warranty is void if the product has been abused, overloaded, inappropriately loaded, neglected or misused in any way. ATCI reserves the exclusive right to determine whether or not the consumer has misused the product. The purchaser must notify the warrantor (ATCI) at the address below of any defect within fifteen days after it is, or should have been discovered. Purchaser must complete and return to ATCI the warranty form at the bottom to obtain warranty service within 30 days of purchase. 
The 3M VHB tape used for bonding the seams on the screwless exterior has a limited temperature rating. In extreme situations, if units exceed this temperature, this may cause problems with the screwless exterior. If problems should arise with the screwless exterior, ATCI will apply rivets or screws in the walls as a part of our warranty procedure. 

Big Tex:
Plant Location: Odessa, Texas 
Your Big Tex equipment, which has been manufactured, tested and inspected in accordance with carefully specified engineering requirements, is warranted to the ORIGINAL owner to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of one (1) year, except as herein limited, from date of purchase. The obligation of this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing any part or parts which, in the opinion of the company, shall be proved defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and service during the one-year-period commencing with the date of purchase. Paint and wood flooring are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover any part or parts which have been damaged as a result of an accident, misuse or abuse. This warranty shall not apply if the trailer has been subjected in loads in excess of its rated capacity. 
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
(1) Equipment which has been modified, repaired, or altered in any way without the express written consent of BigTex.
(2) Unreasonable use (including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance). 
(3) Tires, axles, axle assemblies, suspension components, or any other equipment which is warranted separately by the respective manufacturers of said components. 
(4) Parts not supplied by BigTex.
(5) Certain parts which require replacement in the ordinary course of use due to normal wear. 


Legend Manufacturing, Incorporated:
Plant Location: Eureka, MI

5 AXLE- 15 FRAME - 25 FLOOR - 25 ROOF LIMITED WARRANTY

Legend Manufacturing, Inc. (Warrantor) warrants to the ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER (Purchaser) for a period of Fifteen (15) YEARS from the date of purchase by Purchaser (WARRANTY PERIOD), that it's TRAILER (the frame) shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship attributable to Warrantor. In the case of a bonding agent failure, Legend Manufacturing, Inc. will install a mechanical fastener (i.e., rivets, screws, etc) as part of our repair process if deemed necessary.
Excluded from this fifteen year warranty are electrical, plumbing, sealant, bonding,  paint, undercoating, and fiberglass parts which are warranted for a ONE (1) YEAR period from the date of purchase by the Original Purchaser. Legend's (1) pc. aluminum roof will have a warranty period of 25 years from corrosion and deterioration. 

THINGS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY
Warrantor is not responsible for claims relating to the following: (1) defacing: scratches, dents, chips, tears, and defacing on any surface not caused by Warrantor; (2) routine maintenance; (3) damage from unauthorized repairs, abuse, misuse, or neglect; (4) damage caused from improper hitch ball or tow vehicle hook up; (5) component parts covered by separate Supplier Warranty such as warranties of the manufacturer of tires, axles, jacks, couplers, doors, windows, light fixtures, etc. These warranty claims must be presented to their respective component manufacturer for warranty service. Legend Manufacturing, Inc. reserves the right for final determination whether or not the product has been abused or misused by the Purchaser. 


WARRANTORS OBLIGATION – HOW TO GET WARRANTY SERVICE
Warrantor shall elect to remedy defects in materials and workmanship caused by Warrantor by repair, replacement or refund, if replacement or repair is not possible. All defective products shall be delivered to Warrantor's address listed above unless prior written approval is obtained from Warrantor. Warrantor may, as its option, select another qualified location for the repair to be completed. Warrantor will not be obligated, in any way, to pay for any repairs made without it's specific approval. All costs incurred in shipping or delivering the products for warranty service shall be borne by the Purchaser. 


PURCHASERS OBLIGATION
Purchaser must notify the Warrantor, at the above address, of any defect within fifteen (15) days after it is, or should have been, discovered. Purchaser must complete and return to Warrantor the attached Warranty Card within fifteen (15) days of purchase to obtain warranty service. Purchaser must pay all service, towing, and transportation charges incurred to obtain warranty services. 
  
DISCLAIMER OF CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF WARRANTOR'S PRODUCT AND ANY PERSON TO WHOM THE PRODUCT IS TRANSFERRED, AND ANY PERSON WHO IS AN INTENDED USER OR BENEFICIARY OF THE PRODUCT SHALL NOT BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER FROM WARRANTOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT. DAMAGES INCLUDES LOSS OF USE OF TRAILER, LOSS OR REVENUES OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSSES, SUBSEQUENT USE OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT, LOSS OF TIME AND INCONVENIENCE

Stehl Tow

Plant Location: EasleySC

LIMITED WARRANTY:  Please read the warranty carefully.  It is a “Limited Warranty” as defined in the U. S. Consumer product warranty.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state within the U. S.

STEHL TOW RESPONSIBILITY:  For 1 (one) year from date of purchase Stehl Tow will replace or repair at its option any part defective in material or workmanship.  The customer must return the defective part and pay any transportation charges to and from Stehl Tow.  Stehl Tow may offer at its discretion, a complete unit warranty swap and the cost will be prorated to the owner.  TOW DOLLIES USED FOR REPOSSESSION HAVE A LIMITED 90 DAY WARRANTY.  WIRING AND LIGHTS HAVE A LIMITED 30 DAY WARRANTY.

OWNER RESPONSIBILITY:  Warranty begins on the date of customer’s purchase from an authorized representative.  For your convenience keep the dated bill of sale.  Please fill out and mail your “Owner Registration Card” and a copy of sales receipt within 15 days of purchase. 

NOT COVERED BY LIMITED WARRANTY:  The following items are not covered by limited warranty: tires and rims, wheel bearings, hitch coupling latch assembly on dolly and tie down straps. 

NOTICE:   In order for this limited warranty to be in effect, the “Owner Registration Card” must be completed by original owner within 15 (fifteen) days of original purchase and returned to Stehl Tow Sales Co. together with a copy of the sales receipt.  Mail “Owner Registration Card” to: Stehl Tow, LLC, P.
